10 Details to personalize your wedding
Wedding Saloon

There are different ways to personalize your wedding, but one of the most important is the decoration of the place. Adding a touch of your couple’s essence will make your wedding stop being common and simple. And there is something very good to tell you, decorating your wedding is the easiest way to make it personalized and unforgettable.

Why add personalized details to your wedding decoration

This point is not about whether you as a couple are creative, fun, or young. It’s about making something unforgettable for you and your loved ones. The plan is to be together for the rest of your life, so this celebration of your union deserves to be special, it is also a part of your life that will not repeat itself, once you say YES, I ACCEPT, you will never do that again. And what better than having an environment that shows the love and essence of your new life as a couple.

10 Little things which you can use to personalize your wedding

Wedding planning ideas

  • Drink Stirrers: You can write down the date of the wedding, funny phrases or phrases like “Enjoy it please” “Don’t get drunk” “Cheers”

  • Wedding Guest Book: balloon, jenga, wish jar, frame, classic book, instant photo album, etc.

  • Custom drink names for your bar (cocktails): For example, if you both love the beach, one of the drinks could be named “Beach means Paradise”.

  • The number of tables could have different names such as: north, south, east, and west. If you have more than 4-6-7 tables, it could be places you have visited together like: South Carolina, New York, Texas, etc. Also, if you want to keep a traditional number, you can add a little comment just below the number, you can write a little story about the two of you, like your first date, first trip, or any funny anecdote you would like to share with people.

  • Photo booth: You can create a photo booth based on something you love as a couple, for example, if you both love going to the movies, you can add some decorations that show your hobbies, and your families can take photos with the two of you there.

  • Napkins: You can engrave your names and the wedding date on the napkins or phrases related to lunch or dinner, for example: “God bless this meal” “Enjoy it” “We hope you have a great dinner”.

  • Dessert: Decorate your sweet table with a touch of your essence. You can add mini cakes with the initial letter of your name on top, the wedding date, or a word like “Enjoy.” Another way is to customize your wedding cake, there are several options to do it. It can be a classic cake but adding photos, your names and the wedding date will make it look different or make another dessert like your wedding cake, for example, if you both love pizza, they can put the pizza to make a cake shape and that will be your cake, the same if you love donuts, popcorn, hamburgers.

  • Gift: Give your guests something that they can keep after the wedding and that is useful to them. One of my favorite options is collapsible beer can coolers with your initials and wedding date on them. People love to receive things that they can use after the wedding.

  • Umbrellas, flip flops or Hand Fans: it depends on the weather for the wedding day, but any of them will work perfect for your guests, they can also keep it and use it when they go home, you must personalize them by engraving your initials and wedding date. These details will make your wedding unique and special.

  •  Surprise: add some special game, gift, dance, video or something that no one expects and make your guests have fun. It seems hard to think of what you can add, but just try to focus on you both, and what you love, also you know a lot of your guests, so try to think of how you can give them a moment of entertainment. Example: make games of chairs and whoever wins gets a bottle of wine. It doesn’t have to be something expensive, it’s just a gift, your family and friends will still enjoy being there to play with you.
